As a freelance illustrator, I have participated in many art markets selling my original works.















Utopia of Art History 2023

I often contemplated whether experiencing artworks within their original historical context would enhance their impact. This is because modern exhibition marketing often follows trends, and the environment of some art museums can hinder a truly immersive appreciation of art.
I embarked on a project where I recreated exhibition spaces in the styles of various art historical periods that resonated with me. Within these spaces, I curated representative works from each era, carefully selected to be contextually appropriate. I aimed to challenge the established norms and create a more dynamic and engaging atmosphere for art appreciation.

Mushrooms in Beijing 2023

Using Beijing as my muse, where I resided for five eventful years, 
I have created a series of artworks from my observations. One recurrent element in Beijing that caught my attention is the presence of green plastic mushroom-shaped heating devices, which emit warmth during the cold seasons. Their cartoonish appearance starkly contrasted with the city's concrete jungle.
In my imagination, I envision Beijing as a colossal living entity, with the green mushrooms acting as its breathing valves, allowing it to rejuvenate with each breath. Quietly, it stood witness to the transient individuals who arrived and departed in this city.
